Adding secondary IP address on Ubuntu 22.04

Recently I had to configure IP Failover feature on OVHcloud services (on Private Cloud Instance in particular). Order process and assigning IP address to an instance is rather simple and straightforward, but it isn’t working as expected, especially if your experience is based on AWS Elastic IP feature where it’s super easy to assign new IP to running instance.

There will be some hacking involved…
